A yurt week-end in the poitou marshlands
Enjoy a stay of relaxation and discovery in the heart of Mother Nature with a night in a non-Mongolian, Charente-style yurt at the open-air hotel "La Frênaie".
This light, white fir habitat is built simply with Poitou marshland ash trees and white cotton cloth in such a way as to leave but a small ecological imprint.
You will discover the Poitou marshlands during a one-hour ride in a traditional small boat impelled by a wooden perch, the "pigouille". You will also discover profuse humus-like ecosystems propitious to otters, kingfishers, gray and purple herons...
The bikes placed at your disposal throughout your stay will allow you to criss-cross the marshland pathways and set foot at a restaurant where you will be regaled with a choice of local specialities.
